Our Story
Our Journey
Lived experiences and a desire for change birthed The Invisible Curriculum. For many growing up we saw the importance of money in shaping decisions and opportunities. Yet, open conversations about money were rare, and practical guidance was lacking. This disconnect left many young people, particularly in working-class communities, unprepared to manage their finances effectively.
Recognizing that schools were not prioritizing financial education, and home conversations were often limited to vague warnings, we set out to provide the tools and resources to bridge this gap and prepare the next generation for real-world challenges.
Our Vision
A brighter, more informed generation. Our community envisions a brighter future where financial literacy and political awareness are essential parts of every child’s education. By equipping the next generation with these critical skills, we aim to shape a more informed, empowered society.
Our Approach
We have to be intentional. We address the gaps in today’s educational systems by promoting open conversations about money and politics. Through intentionality, we encourage families and schools to demystify these topics for children, helping them build a solid foundation for the future. Our commitment to objectivity ensures that our educational resources are free from bias, focusing instead on real-world relevance and impact.
Our Goal
We need change, and we need it now. We advocate for the inclusion of financial literacy and political education in the UK’s national curriculum and strive to inspire change in educational systems worldwide. Join us in making the invisible visible. Together, let’s empower every child to take on the world.
